Bibful — Terms of Use

Effective date: 14 August 2026

These terms cover using the Bibful app and website. The short version: use Bibful as intended (helping you plan and cook weaning meals for your baby), its recipe and feeding content is informational only, not medical advice, and if you subscribe to Bibful Premium, that subscription auto-renews until you cancel it. Read on for the full terms. For how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy instead — this page is about using the app and service, not about data collection.

1. Accepting these terms

By downloading, installing, or using Bibful (“the app”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app. Bibful is published by Bibful, an individual developer — contact hello@bibful.com with any question about these terms.

2. What Bibful is

Bibful is a recipe and meal-planning app for parents and carers introducing solid foods to a baby, from first weaning through family meals. It helps you find recipes based on ingredients you have, plan a week of meals, and keep a record of what your baby has tried.

3. Not medical advice

Bibful’s recipes, age guidance, texture guidance, allergen information, and any other content in the app are provided for general informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical, dietary, or nutritional advice from your doctor, health visitor, dietitian, or other qualified healthcare provider. Always consult a healthcare professional before introducing new foods, allergens, or making feeding decisions for your baby — especially if your baby has a known allergy, a medical condition, or was born prematurely. In an emergency, contact emergency services directly; do not rely on the app.

We make a genuine effort to keep recipe and safety content accurate (see the founder-review process described in the app’s About & Safety screen), but we cannot guarantee it is complete, current, or error-free, and you use it at your own discretion and judgment as a parent or carer.

4. Using Bibful

You may use Bibful for your own personal, family, or caregiving purposes. Please don’t:

5. Bibful Premium (subscriptions)

Bibful offers a free tier and an optional paid subscription, Bibful Premium, which unlocks additional recipes. Premium is available as a Monthly or Annual auto-renewing subscription, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play (whichever store you downloaded Bibful from) at the price shown on the subscription screen at the time of purchase.

We use RevenueCat to process and manage subscriptions — see Privacy Policy, section 6, for what that involves.

6. Content and ownership

Bibful’s recipes, text, design, and branding are owned by Bibful or used under permission, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app and its content for your own weaning and feeding purposes — nothing here transfers ownership of that content to you.

Any content stored on your own device (your baby’s profile, food log, saved recipes, meal plans) belongs to you and stays under your control, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Third-party services

Bibful uses a small number of third-party services to operate (Firebase for optional sign-in, Sentry for optional crash reporting, RevenueCat for subscription processing, and the Apple App Store or Google Play for billing) — see Privacy Policy for details on each. We aren’t responsible for those services’ own terms, availability, or content, and using Bibful may also mean you’re bound by the App Store’s or Google Play’s own terms for downloading and paying for apps.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Bibful is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it will be uninformative, error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of the app or reliance on its content, including any decision made about feeding your baby based on information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, where applicable law says otherwise.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes — for example, if we add a feature that needs its own terms. We’ll update the “Effective date” above when we do. Continuing to use Bibful after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Ending your use of Bibful

You can stop using Bibful at any time by deleting the app (and, if you subscribed, separately cancelling your subscription through the App Store or Google Play — deleting the app alone does not cancel a subscription). We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

11. Software licence (EULA)

Bibful uses Apple’s standard End User License Agreement for the licence to use the app’s software itself: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. These Terms of Use apply in addition to, not instead of, that agreement.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which Bibful’s developer is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where local consumer-protection law gives you additional rights that can’t be waived — in that case, those local rights still apply.
